USTA Jr. Team Tennis is designed for kids ages 5-18 years old. It is a team format league and matches can be held anywhere from a local park or school to a private club. Teams are preferably co-ed but can also be single gender.
The following are the age and play divisions:
Age groups
18 & Under, 14 & Under, 12 & Under
10 & Under, 8 & Under (see 10 and Under Tennis for more information)
Play divisions
Beginner - just starting match play; has played no or very few FCTF Grand Prix events
Intermediate - plays FCTF Jr Grand Prix events and local USTA tournaments
Advanced - plays USTA tournaments including Super Series and Designated; has 200 or more
state ranking points
