What is Self-rating?
Self-rating is the quick and easy way to establish your tennis skill level based on the NTRP system. Since USTA League uses NTRP ratings to place individuals into teams based on their ability, anyone and everyone that wants to participate in USTA League tennis MUST have an NTRP rating.
Who should self-rate?
All new players to USTA League tennis must self-rate on TennisLink, the official USTA League tennis online registration portal.
How do I self-rate?
1. Identify which USTA Florida League (Pensacola) program you would like to participate in by browsing our current offerings.
3. Contact the Local League Coordinator for the program of your choice to receive your Team Number.
5. Enter your USTA membership number and Team Number.
6. You will be prompted to self-rate. Answer all questions on the self-rate questionnaire as honestly as possible to generate the most accurate and viable NTRP rating.
I don't agree with the minimum rating recommended for me. What can I do?
If you have honestly and completely finished the self-rate process and you do not agree with the minimum rating given to you, you have the option to Appeal the self-rate immediately online. If you do not Appeal right there, you have the ability to contact your Jacksonville USTA Local League Coordinator to find out the next steps. You have 1 year from the time of completing the online process to Appeal your self-rating.
