10 and Under Tennis Workshop to be held at Mayport Naval Base
The last local 10 and Under Tennis Workshop for 2011 will be held at Mayport Naval Base on September 10, 2011 from 8:30 - 12:00. Registration is open to any parents, volunteers, teaching professionals, parks and recreation staff, or anyone that is interested in learning more about 10 and Under Tennis featuring the QuickStart Tennis Format of Play.
This 3.5 hour interactive workshop will be led by USTA National Trainer, Dede Allen. Participants will recieve on-court instruction and will leave with sample 10 and Under Tennis balls as well as a lesson plan book.
Registration is open online at www.regonline.com/2011_tennis_workshops and will close on September 5th.
This is the fourth 10 and Under Workshop that the First Coast Region has hosted in 2011. Locally, more than 200 people have been trained in this format of play.
